At Gold Coast Care Services, we understand that aged care facilities are under increasingly tight budgeting constraints and in many cases it is challenging for nursing homes/aged care facilities to provide our mature population the kind of companionship care that family members would like to see. At GCCS we try to fill the gap on the family members’ behalf. We provide any additional one-on-one support your loved one may require.
As we are a fully insured provider, most aged care facilities are more than welcoming on the additional support we can offer their service users. Our assistance ranges from providing personal 1:1care assistants as regularly as needed, as well as time spent for companionship.
We also provide palliative and end-of-life care. This service is totally flexible to the family’s requirements and was particularly appreciated during the COVID lockdowns.
We send the family members an update at the end of each visit and assist with photographs and face-time communication if desired. Please contact us for more details.
